“The financial market is not operating properly” says Steven. But he blame it on Clinton – Obama years. But it was Reagan’s financial deregulation that really lit the fuse of the finance-housing EED (economic explosive device). I’d add that also during Reagan we had the explosion in illegal immigration that gave house builders infinite, cheap labor to build all those housing tracts no one can afford to buy from now. And Bush I just carried on the same. Another thing that rose under Reagan was homelessness – no home at all.
Concerning Marc’s real estate “raping”. Fckuing rip-offs have no honor these days. Back in my day a thief would have at least turned off the valve to the ice-maker as an act or appreciation to the person they’re profiting by victimizing.
Another suggestion is to install security systems including cameras. With all the internet connected security options these days, a thief will think twice before busting into a place with cameras positioned outside and inside the house. To keep the cameras from getting ripped off or taken out, you can position them inside, pointing outward. All thieves these days know that even if they manage to take out a camera with a BB-gun or slingshot, the camera may well be connected online and will have send photos or a notification of a camera out of order. Marc ought to get that and a 12 gauge then take care of business himself.
It’s the libril mindset that stole and vandalized from Marc. The 99%ers do you think a consertive dd it? It’s the very mentality that Marc thinks so highly of that did that deed. An alarm system is pretty inexpensive now a days. They even install them for free with a 60 dollar a month monitoring fee. It’s a shame but could have been easley prevented. I feel bad for him, but what I am saying is the truth.
Ya, too bad they didn’t nab the libril perps. I bet they all had on “obey Obama” t-thirts and ACLU membership cards in their wallets.
As for the alarm. Sure, if you want to pay 60 dollars a month, and pay the police for every time they have to respond to a false alarm when a cat walks past a window and sets off the motion detector. But the security cam setup is inexpensive, easy to set up (Costco offers free training seminars) and could be an attractive addition to the property. Better than having the police take their sweet time responding after going through the chain of notification through the alarm company, to the police, Marc should work out a deal with a neighbor who he can call if there’s a notification sent to his cell phone from the security DVR’s camera. Not to “investigate”, but just to look out their window to see if someone’s wheeling the fridge out the front door; then just get the license number for police to investigate. A clanging fals-alarm in the middle of the night doesn’t do much to win you neighborly favor.
I agree. Sounds like a better idea.
