Because a lot of people work with or own assets with their families, Steve starts out by telling a few stories about families that ended up in unnecessary litigation with one another, and then tells a few more about families that profited greatly from working together. Then, this week an autistic child in the audience at “The King and I” at Lincoln Center in New York City disrupted the show. Some in the audience had one reaction, an actor had another, and Steve has some thoughts on all of it. Finally, Steve retells a cautionary tale for today’s investors based on what happened to a lot of people in the 1840s.
