Al made some complaint about how the “fake” Mitt Romney is the liberal Governor of Massachussetts.

Which Al Rantel is the real one? The raging liberal of today, or the conservative talk show host of 2001?

Also, I wish that Marc would have some sort of non-liberal voice on when Al comes on. With Marc, Al and Dina all agreeing on how horrible Romney is, the show gets a little boring.

Rob or Sharon would not be the voice. Somebody a little more nuanced in thought. I guess that this goes for pretty much any show. It would be nice to have at least one guest who comes on, occasionally, who is not a left winger who can provide some original commentary (not conservative rhetoric).

Great RichieW13. So now, just in the name of balance, why don’t you surf over to glenbeck.com and rushlimbaugh.com and marclevin.com and humbly suggest they inject some “balance” into their shows. But why waste your time. They won’t even present you the opportunity to speak your ‘radical lefty’ idea of free speech and “balance.”

I have no interest in listening to Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh. Listening to a one-sided conversation like that is so boring.

Most of the time, Marc and Dina just talk about all kinds of random things. It’s great. You never know what they’ll talk about, and Marc will even challenge Dina on crazy things like organic foods. But when Marc, Dina and Al get together the past 2 or 3 times it has been a single-sided viewpoint.

This is internet-based talkradioone. They don’t have to follow the rules of AM talk radio (the rules that are getting those stations all out of business). They can do what they want.

Heck, they can even offer no opposition. I’ll still listen, because I like Marc. I just think it would be MORE interesting with a bit of an opposing viewpoint.

For the record Dina only had 10 minutes gas in her political tank. She got bored and fell asleep soon after.

We have yet to discover how to get Dina to light up when Al is on the show… Think we have to get a Loony/Al/Dina threesome going.

    Literally.

    RichieW13:

There’s a big difference between my aforementioned talkers and Marc in all his talk show career. You can call Marc from any political perspective and he’ll take your call and engage you in sincere conversation. The aforementioned have surrounded themselves with s phalanx of bouncers who will not let you voice your opinion and engage them in any way. That’s the difference and I’m hoping someone from the moron right will be enraged by Marc and Al’s liberal rantings. Unfortunately most of them are dumb and know it and therefore feel intimidated by a conversation between two well informed political enthusiasts.

i agree. It’s a partisan discussion and just not interesting. How about a little diversity? I think both the candidates are dolts and basically beholding to the man. Let’s talk about how the media is trying to shape this whole election out to be a tight race. Sh’yeah. It doesn’t matter who’s in office!

Problem is these days there is no intelligible right. The right has drawn and quartered their own who have refused to take the Tea Party pledge. I have no interest in listening to some Sarah Palin apostle going on about eliminating public education, seceding from the union and burning Hillary at the stake. You’d be trying to talk to idiots like this:

Fair point. But there have to be some conservative-leaning commentators who can have a reasonable discussion, and not just yell at the opposition or toe (tow?) the party line.

I doubt that he would ever be on the show, but somebody like Larry Elder jumps to mind. Unfortunately, I am not nearly a good enough at debate to call in to the show to offer any diversity.
