    In response to dina’s call for Dick Cavett rememberances, I’m the same age as Marc and while I only vaguely remember (but never watched) the Dick Cavett show, I do remember watching him as both guest and guest host of TheTonight Show and Saturday Night Live and thinking he was hilarious. Hope you get him on.

    I also remember My Three Sons in reruns.

    When Dina made the comment about Dick Cavett being irrelevant, I thought at the time, “boy, I sure hope that publicist isn’t listening.”

    Not sure if they ever got around to playing Dina’s sound clip from the previous episode, but the Dick Cavett discussion begins around the 1:03 mark. She actually says 2 things that sound a little confrontational:

    First -
    “Do you think I can make him hang up?”

    Second, is the backhanded compliment -
    “He’s been irrelevant forever. And when he was relevant it was outstanding.”

    I wouldn’t blame this all on Dina. Marc talking about Cavett undergoing electroshock therapy is surely not what the publicist wanted to hear.

    By the way someone tell me there will be drops made of Tomm and Dina doing their impressions of a Viper alarm. These could be used any time there is a breaking news alert.
