Hi Fustians…I’ve got a confession…your correct opinions have been missed over the past few weeks! Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year…I’m looking forward to another year of quality Film Fustian broadcasts providing top notch information, entertainment and education!

Over the past two or three weeks I’ve been watching quite a few films and movies, catching along the way some real crap! I caught some Christmas films too including ‘Bad Santa’ which I had never seen before following your recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised with the film and at the performance of Bob Thornton. He’s not an actor I would normally watch but really enjoyed him in this. I’m not sure where they would go if they followed it up though. I’m of the belief that some films are best left alone when it comes to sequels and prequels…this one of them.

During my time off…stuffing my face with a variety of unhealthy foods, there was one film that really stood out for me. It was one that if I’m honest can’t say I’d heard of before, strange, as it stars the likes of Amy Adams, Clint Eastwood and John Goodman. I just happened to be flicking through the movie channels one night and there it was, almost calling me and waiting to be watched if you like! I am of course talking about ‘Trouble With The Curve’ released back in 2012. I’m your average viewer when it comes to film but can’t say I remember this at the cinema. I enjoyed it none the less and really loved the soundtrack too. I came away from watching it with the thinking that performances from Clint Eastwood have got better with age. I’m sure you will say I am talking out my arse but I don’t care! What do you think? I enjoyed the film and would recommend it to any listener that has yet to watch it.

Just briefly…is it worth going to the cinema to watch ‘Last Vegas’? I only ask as the trailer comes across as if it’s ‘The Hangover For Pensioners’, but, still looks quite good. Having said that, I dare say that it is the job of the trailer to do this right?!

    Looking forward to the show.

Top 6 list suggestion – the best weather themed film?!

Oh my god! I watched the movie MOON from 2009 last week!
Please can I have my 90 minutes back?!
I think when reviewing this shit fest three words come to mind, NOT VERY GOOD!
Seriously – this must be one of the worst movies ever made by someone, worst movies released on the big screen, and worst movies viewed by the poor paying movie goer!

Hey show – you’ve been missed!

Just a brief howdy from Nebraska – howdy!
I thought I’d contact you to ask whether either of you have seen the movie THE SPECTACULAR NOW, released last year I think? I just so happened to catch it over the holidays and have to say I was totally impressed with it. I’d never heard of the lead actor Miles Teller but praise him for his performance in this. I was also impressed with Shailene Woodley, the fact she got her jogging partners out helped to be honest! Have either of you seen this movie? What did you think?

On a completely different topic, have you made any new year resolutions?!
    Bye for now show!

My three worst movies from 2013 – and yes I will be writing to the makers of each for a refund!

    3] Movie 43
    2] Getaway
    1] Lone Ranger

I thought about adding Grown Ups 2, however, I didn’t! My love for Adam Sandler is too much! Whilst he releases the odd bad movie, at least he’s consistant eg, releases one on an annual basis!

    You’re back!

What do you think 2014 has in store for us?

I’m predicting it to be a year of sequels and remakes, hopefully worthwhile ones?!

The two sequels I’m looking forward to include ‘Muppets Most Wanted’ and ‘Dumb and Dumber 2’. I won’t be holding my breath for ‘The Expandles 3’, I have a sneaky feeling this could be on my worst film list for 2014!

The two remakes I’m looking forward to include ‘Robocop’ and ‘Godzilla’.

Here are my picks for worst movies in 2013.
It wasn’t easy, there were some real disapointments last year.

    06) Pain And Gain
    05) Texas 3D
    04) Kick Ass 2
    03) The Internship
    02) Movie 43
    01) The Counseller

I believe there’s something wrong with Max’s setup technically. Every caller is garbled and Mike’s audio has a lot of problems with delays and compression. This has been going on for a couple of months. I request Max troubleshoot this with TRO Founder/CEO/Program Director/Tech Support Marc Germain.

    Love the show,

I’m not sure if this is the correct opinion…best ask The Fustians!
