Fevzi & Nick LIVE from the UK, 6/19/13

In this week’s sans-Nick show, Fevzi brings us news of Apple’s co-founder, Steve Wozniak, discussing why he believes America’s human rights record has become like that of the Russia of his childhood. Fevzi reflects on whether we should all just accept that America’s spy programs are a price worth paying to help thwart terrorist attacks, or whether the state keeps us afraid in order to gain our acquiescence; also whether the Taliban have any need to negotiate with the West at this point, other than to perhaps, discuss the terms of our surrender; and whether the families of troops should be able to sue their state for sending them into illegal or ill-judged wars.
